About Us
Our Story
My name is Rob and I started Camden Picture Framing as a family business with my wife and two boys in 2015. I have been framing since 1993 in both Sydney and Melbourne. In the early 2000’s I owned a chain of framing stores in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore and Inner West. Although greatly appreciative of this success I found as the business grew I became less involved in the actual framing aspects which as a craftsman I missed. Camden Picture Framing was created as a studio where I could be involved in all aspects from the initial design consultation with the customer through to the completion of all works and this has made the last 10 years have been the most satisfying of my career so far.

The best way to start is to visit us with your artwork where we can guide you though some framing options and describe the materials and techniques to use on your piece.
Many can find this first step a little intimidating – they are unsure of what to expect in terms of price, if they can freely express what they like or don’t like, some have even expressed that although what they want to frame is special to them, they are worried what the framer might think of it. Let me assure you that I (and I would suggest all my fellow framers) are keen to show we can do, hear your feedback and help you accordingly. Our design consultations are always free and without any obligation to proceed.
